Purpose

The purpose of this Church is to present isagogical, categorical and exegetical Bible teaching that unequivocally stands for the fundamentals of the faith as contained in the Holy Scriptures, and to present the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ both at home and abroad through the teaching of the Word in this Church, by sending and supporting missionaries, and through the ordination of pastor-teachers.

The thrust of this church is to communicate Bible Doctrine to believers in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to edify them for the attainment of spiritual maturity so that they will be prepared for spiritual combat.

This purpose and thrust is accomplished through the teaching of the Word of God and prayer.

Country Bible Church was founded in 1991

After 15 years of intensive academic preparation, Mike Smith was ordained at Berachah Church in 1991. Construction of Country Bible Church began immediately following Mike's ordination into the ministry, and he has continued to faithfully study and teach since. He was named by Pastor R. B. Thieme, Jr. to sit on the Berachah Church Ordination Council reviewing other new pastoral candidates in 1995 and 1997.

We celebrate the love and total thoughtfulness of God the Father who provided Mike Smith with such great parents, authority-orientation, football, military, and construction disciplines, self-employment experience, and the superb academic preparation necessary that has made him the faithful and willing servant that he is today. We praise our God for faithfully providing His Word and its accurate dissemination. After 35 years of faithful teaching, Pastor Mike retired in May 2026.

Country Bible Church is currently conducting the search for a pastor. We are grateful for God’s unfailing love, as we know His plan is the best plan and we are prepared to have patience in His selection. We know that following divine protocol will produce amazing results. Hebrews 10:36; 2 Timothy 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 2:13

BIBLE TEACHING IS FREE TO ALL! Country Bible Church never solicits contributions. When gratitude for the Word of God motivates the believer, then he has the privilege of contributing to the church for the continued dissemination of Bible Doctrine. Offerings are collected on Sunday mornings as a convenience for those who wish to support this ministry. Church membership is not required for attendance or to partake of communion.

RESPECT for the Word of God requires good manners & concentration, along with objectivity and the filling of the Holy Spirit. Please refrain from all talking and unnecessary movement.

SCHEDULE - Sunday service starts 10:30 AM.

The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is observed on the first Sunday of every odd month. Fellowship Dinner following communion service.

JR. CLASS & NURSERY - Junior Class is provided for children ages 6 to 12. They receive Bible lessons on a level they can understand, that also prepares them for adult Bible Classes. The Nursery and Junior Class are available every Sunday morning.

CHURCH MEMBERSHIP is not required for attendance or communion. Country Bible Church never solicits membership. Please contact Vidal Flores at 832-438-0301 for membership information.

PRAYER is communication with God for the believer only. Prayer demonstrates an intimate relationship with the Lord. He has granted believers this privilege for expressing gratitude, desires, and needs to Him. Every believer should utilize prayer – the potential impact of communication with God is unlimited.
